Craft magazine say "Charlie Oldham's gorgeous carved Ewe, based on a Henry Moore drawing,nodded directly to English art." in their review of the Yew Tree project in Salisbury.

Charlie's yew ewe was subsequently bought for permanent display in the Salisbury Arts Centre.


Charlie restored the fabulous altar piece in Redland Chapel, Bristol.

Michael Baker, a member of the parish committee said "We have debated whether to colour Charlie's new carving to match the old or not. Although this had been planned originally, many of our parishioners are enjoying being able to see this new chapter in our Chapel's history so visually."
